RUN - BIKE - RUN The third annual off-road duathlon takes place Sunday, Nov. 2 in Des Moines' Greenwood Park.

Des Moines’ third annual off-road duathlon is a non-profit venture supporting trail development in central Iowa. The race is hosted by Capital Striders and Central Iowa Trail Association and supported by Wicked Fast and Rasmussen Bike Shop.

WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 2
SCHEDULE:
- Registration opens at 10 a.m.
- (Free) Kids race at 10:30 a.m.
- Beginner race at 11 a.m.
- Open/relay race at noon
WHERE: Des Moines’ Greenwood Park
DISTANCES:
- Open/relay category distances will be comparable to past years and similar events — 2+ miles of running, 10+ miles of cycling and 2+ final miles of running.
- Beginner course will be a 2+ mile run and 5+ mile ride.
- Kids will do a short run and ride around the pond.
