  • Handlebars tape/grips changed (if needed)
  • Component parts and incidentals (if needed) are extra; labor for installation is included

This is our sixth winter with this promotion and we have learned a few things by doing a lot of these tune-ups. Possible incidentals include brake pads, tires, tubes, cables/housing, tape/grips, chain, cassette, bearings, and bottom bracket.

Here’s why we often replace or recommend replacement of these parts:

1. Cables and Housings: Unless they’ve been replaced fairly recently, new cables and housing are a great way to make a bike shift and brake like new.

2. Brake Pads: The quickest way to snappier braking to to replace worn brake pads.

3. Bar Tape: New bar tape is an appreciated upgrade and there are gel inserts available for under the tape that remove road vibration and create a more comfortable ride.

4. Tires and Tubes: Winter is a good time for new tires and tubes, be confident in your cornering and stay flat free.

5. Chain: Often overlooked, riding on a stretched chain will shorten the life of the entire drive train.

The $125 covers virtually all the labor that we could perform on a bicycle. Now is a great time to upgrade anything you’ve been thinking about. Plus, we have great prices on parts.
