Leap Frog For Life is a "Fun"d Raiser for the Relay For Life of Mills County! We will be hosting a "Leap Frog" event on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail at the Trail Head in Council Bluffs, and end at Tobey Jacks Mineola Steak House. The "Leap Frog" is a two person team where one participant is on a bike, and the other is a foot traveler, (either walking or running). Each mile they will switch roles, and then "Leap Frog" each other. **Single participants are welcome to either bike the entire way, or run/walk.* This will be a family friendly event with the more competitive participants starting off the event, promptly at 2:00, followed by the novice participants, and then the "just for fun" participants. Following the "Leap Frog" there will be games, snacks, and beverages at Tobey Jacks, to fill in the afternoon while everyone arrives at the finish point. **Transportation will be available to take one team member back to the trail head to retrieve their vehicle, if other arrangements have not been made.
At 6:00 we will start the dinner that will be included in your registration fee, or for purchase at the door if you have non family participants joining you after the time on the trail. At 7:00 we will have a live auction with some GREAT items for you to bid on. (There will also be a silent auction starting on September 17th at Tobey Jacks and the winners announced when the band takes a break around 10:00.) From 8:00 to the end of the night dance the night away with the Road Haus band.
