Maybe The Great Weather may had something to do with the record-turnout for the 5th Annual Des Moines Tweed Ride... or maybe not.
Getting dressed up and riding your bicycle on one of the last warm sunny days in November brought out plenty of vintage clothing, patina'd bicycles and plenty of creativity as hundreds of Tweed adorned cyclists lined 4th street in front of the Royal Mile.
Riders rode to the Capital for a group shot (Thanks Chris Maharry!) and then down the hill to Ichi Bike for a refreshment before returning to the Royal Mile.
Definitely a day to remember!
