It’s
part of the Cedar Valley Trail Network a
130 miles trail system that includes numerous
trails connecting with local recreation areas including Black Hawk Park, Cedar
Bend Park, Prairie Lakes Park, Big Woods Lake, Hartman Reserve Nature Center
and Katoski Greenbelt. This system is quite complex. Fortunately there are some great resources on the Cedar Falls Tourism & Visitors Bureau website. You
can download a PDF map of the whole system, order a free paper version, or
download an interactive trail map app for your smart phone. Another great source for updated trail status is the Cedar Trail Partnership Facebook page. You can also scout
the trail system ahead of time on Google Earth using biking directions.
