Central Iowa music fans rejoice. A new music festival comes to central Iowa this summer.

Clive's Horizon Events Center, 2100 NW 100th St., announced on Wednesday that the Greenbelt Music Festival — a two-day event focused on bluegrass music — will make its debut on May 19. The festival is being organized in collaboration with Clive Community Foundation and is planned as a primarily outdoor affair.

Tickets for the festival will start at $35 for a one-day pass with a two-day pass priced at $65; $5 of every festival pass will go toward the Clive Community Foundation to benefit the Greenbelt Landing Project to help revitalize the Clive Greenbelt Trail. Passes go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 17.
