Pay it Forward Week is a big deal on the Southwestern Community College campus in Creston.
The big week is in April, but a group of students could not wait.
The group of five freshmen told KCCI they just wanted to do something to help a young man they say is one of the nicest people on campus.They noticed the bike a cafeteria worker used for transportation was looking rundown, like it would soon roll to a permanent stop.
Nash English, Kurtis Noonan, Robert Norton, Collin Sager and Ross Tiedeman wanted to do something to help him.
As college students they quickly ruled out a car due to their limited budgets.
