The Des Moines Bicycle Collective is looking to add to the team. At our community nonprofit bicycle workshop in the East Village of Des Moines we accept donated bicycles, refurbish them, and sell or donate them back to the community. We are seeking the full-time help of a bicycle mechanic and a shop manager. These are both full-time paid positions that will work in the bike shop building bikes, overseeing and instructing volunteers on proper bicycle repair processes, and assisting customers with sales and servicing their own bikes.
Don't have time for a full-time position but like the idea of working in a bike shop that gives back to the community? We are also looking for limited part-time help on some weekends as an operations assistant. No bicycle maintenance experience necessary, customer service experience preferred.
