The Dallas County Conservation Board held a public hearing Tuesday, Jan. 12 on funding for phase 3 and phase 4 of the High Trestle Trail to Raccoon River Valley Trail Connector project.

Phase 3 of the project will add another mile to the westward route from Woodward. The trail from S Avenue to R Avenue is complete, and phase 3 will continue the trail westward one mile to Quinlan Avenue. The estimated cost of phase 3 is $569,000.

Phase 4 of the HTT-RRVT connector project involves building a trail bridge over Beaver Creek near 130th Street east of Perry and paving as far as M Avenue. The estimated cost of phase 4 is $669,300.
