The brightly-painted water tank in Cummingwas among the finalists for a 2020 national competition.
The tower features a mural done boy Des Moines artist Ben Schuh, which includes trains, the old school house, and bike trails. A water tower in Muscatine, Iowa also made the list of 12-finalists.
Nearly 300-water tanks were nominated for the award. The winner was a sea-scape-painted water-tower in Florida.
All the finalists will be featured in a calendar published by the Tnemec Company.
