S Avenue will be closed west of Woodward from Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m. between 130th Street (County Road R30) and the Boone County line.
The Dallas County Conservation Department is closing S Avenue in order to permit construction of the Raccoon River Valley Trail crossing across S Avenue.
