Construction crews will begin spring repair work on the Raccoon River Valley Trail Monday, March 16, with a series of overlay/bridge repair projects between Adel and Redfield, the Dallas County Conservation Board announced Tuesday.
Wallace said contractors will work to minimize the duration of trail closures, but at times segments of the 10-mile section between Adel and Redfield will be temporarily closed during the $1.3 million project. No detour routes will be available during the project, which is anticipated to take about 90 working days, he said.
