Flood waters have receded a bit around Des Moines' Gray's Lake Park, but the mess from standing water is going to require a lot of clean-up by the city.

Pictures posted by the Parks and Recreation Department show that sections of the concrete trail around the park are buckling and cracking. The park remains closed. There is not a timetable for when it will reopen.

City crews will have to clean up and repair the damaged parts of the park. It's not clear how much that will cost.
