Drunk driver struck bicyclist in Des Moines

A Waukee man is facing OWI charges after police say he hit a bicyclist just before 2:30 Monday afternoon.

It happened in the 600 block of 35th street near the Ingersol Ave intersection.

33 year old Joshua Law, from Waukee, made a left turn right in front of the bicycle. The bicyclist had minor injuries, but police say it could have been a lot worse.

This is Law's 3rd OWI charge.
