The Sauk Rail Trail will be closed 2 miles south of Breda
beginning Monday October 6th.
This trail closure is expected to last one week and the trail will reopen
on Tuesday October 14th. The
two mile stretch of trail that runs through Hazelbrush wildlife area is where
the closure will be. Please avoid this area during these dates.
Four bridges in the Hazelbrush wildlife area will be
converted from wood planks to concrete.
The Sauk Rail Trail Association, Carroll County Conservation andindividual donationsare funding this project. This
project will be a huge improvement for the trail. Look for more information about this project
