Bruce Mills of DMCC passes away

Bruce Mills was a long time member of the Des Moines Cycle Club (DMCC) who just recently passed away.
Bruce was a long time member of the Des Moines Cycle Club and he participated and helped with many events including races, tours, and regular group rides. I believe that Bruce has been a member of DMCC going back to the 1970's. During the 1990's he rode regularly with the West-Side Ride Group which met in the parking lot by the Wal-Mart in WIndsor Heights. Bruce was a ride leader there for several years. Bruce was especially helpful to new riders who came to the West-Side Ride Group as he would ensure that new riders would feel welcome and not get left behind.
