Saturday, October 7th, will be “Just another day in paradise” when the First Annual Dr. Bob Breedlove Memorial Bicycle Ride leaves town at 7:00am! Enjoy an early Fall ride through the countryside, trails, and small communities West and Northwest of Des Moines, in honor of our friend Dr. Bob Breedlove who was killed while competing in the 2005 Race Across America. Check-in will begin at 6:15 at Bike World, 60th and Ashworth at which time the registration fee of $25 can be paid. The money raised will go to The Dr. Breedlove Memorial Fund to benefit the trails, and all registrants will receive an official Dr. Bob ride t-shirt.
