Metro Record REGISTER STAFF AND NEWS SERVICES June 26, 2006 Annual bike ride offers three options The 16th annual Cycle for Sight ride is set for July 9 at the Ankeny Family YMCA. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. Each participant will start the ride immediately after registration. Riders can choose one of three routes: a 20-mile fun ride, a 60-mile ride or an 85-plus-mile RAGBRAI warm-up ride. The cost of the ride is $12; $24 for families. The fee includes food and refreshments at all rest stops, access to the Ankeny YMCA before and after the ride and a chance for prizes. Proceeds will support the Lions Club in its effort to help the vision impaired and the YMCA's efforts for family wellness.
