Jon Jordan of Atlantic first rode the RAGBRAI course in 1986. After that, he didn’t go on the ride for several years, and when decided to start again, he would ride only for a few days. But seven years ago, he made the decision to start riding on the whole RAGBRAI ride each year.
“I just have such a great time,” he said. “ I’ve got a good team that I ride with, and I’m always looking for a reason to A- ride my bike and B- get some exercise.”
Plus, he said. “RAGBRAI is also just a hoot. It’s a fun way to see Iowa. It’s a fun way to get together with friends. And, of course, I get to ride my bike and like I always say- A bad day on a bike is better than a good day at the office.”
