Iowa Games Cycling Gravel Grinder Race
Sat - July 14th - Ames, IA
The Gravel Bike Race is a non-stop, self-supported, solo competition along the gravel roads of rural Iowa. Two distance will be offered: 30 miles and 60 miles.

Iowa Games Time Trial
Sat - July 21st - Cambridge, IA
The cycling time trial is a 20K race. The course is set to go 10K straight out and 10K straight back.
They cycling time trial hand cycling division is a 12K race. The course is set to go 6K straight out and 6K straight back.

Iowa Senior Games Time Trial
Sat - July 21st - Cambridge, IA
The Iowa Senior Games Cycling Time Trial is for men and women ages 50+. Participants do NOT have to be an Iowa resident to participate. Ten age categories are offered in 5-year increments, allowing participants to compete against their peers. The Iowa Senior Games will be a 10K course with a turnaround at the 5K mark. Participants may ride the 5K only, but 10K participants will be given a 5K time as well. Awards will be given for both the 5K and 10K races.

Iowa Games Cycling Road Race
Sun - July 22nd - Boone, IA
This is an OPEN course, meaning racers must share the road with vehicles. Registration will start at 6:30 am. The course will cover approximately 26 miles. Race categories can consist of individual and tandems.

The mission of the Iowa Games is to provide sports and recreation opportunities for all Iowans through Olympic-style festivals, events and programs.

What are the Iowa Games?
The Iowa Games began in August of 1987 as a weekend event, featuring 16 sports and 7,104 participants (nearly a record number at that time for a first-year state games). For the first time, weekend athletes, school children and senior citizens could experience the thrill of great performances and satisfaction of doing their best in a statewide Olympic-style competition.

Who is eligible to compete?
All Iowans! The Iowa Games offers event for athletes of all ages and abilities!
