The Iowa Bike Expo is one of the coolest events in the Midwest. Each vendor is someone who you really want to see versus just passing by. There will be plenty of Bicycle Shops with the latest and greatest as well as plenty of Iowa Trail Destinations. Check out the 2018 Exhibitor List.
Be sure to stop down and allow yourself plenty of time to browse! Then we'll all party at the RAGBRAI Announcement Party later that night!
Photo Bingo Fun!
We are super-excited to offer a new game at the expo this year - Photo Bingo. You take photos. We give prizes. We have 250 bingo cards and you can play from 10:00 am to 2:45 pm. We'll have you snapping photos all over the expo. Once you get a Bingo, come back to get your prize. Get 3 Bingos or a Blackout and get entered into a drawing for cash. Please don't take a card if you don't aim to play.
Cool Gear for Cool Weather
If you know us, you know that we like to create small batches of BIKEIOWA Gear, then once they are gone, we create something new. We always try and offer something unique and cool for the Iowa Bike Expo. We like the creativity and we find folks like to wear apparel that "not everyone else has".
For this year's expo, we decided to put the focus on casual wear. Long sleeved shirts, hoodies and some new T-shirt designs. It's been a cold year and we've has lots of requests for warmer gear.
In the past, we've debuted our new Primal jerseys, crew shirts and women's tank tops. We will still have a good selection, but we won't debut any new lycra new until late June in preparation for RAGBRAI.
If we have any leftovers of the new gear after the expo, we will post to the BIKEIOWA store later int eh week.

You asked for it. You got it! We think our design is bright and fun and you'll love the twist! We partnered up with Tony at BikeRags and Defeet this year. We went with a 6inch cuff on their Aireator series. The Aireator's breathe and wick well. They are thin throughout for a light weight feel and help maintain an efficient, close fit in performance cycling shoes. Made with CoolMax® EcoMade™ fibers that are derived from recycled resources. Sorry... Quantities are limited.. We already know we should have ordered more! We have a few Merica socks to match you Merica gear too...
Women's Lightweight Crew Neck Sweatshirt - NEW!
This super-soft fleece lined sweatshirt will look sharp anywhere you go. Our testers loved the capped crew neck and raglan sleeves. The color is aquamarine and quantities are somewhat limited! Sizes XS-2XL.
Lightweight Zip-up Hoodie - NEW!
No longer does a traditional zip hoodie have to be made out of fleece. This perfect light weight, and oh so soft, men's zip-up hoodie has a coil kissing zipper, sewn eyelets, flat drawcord, unlined hood and 1x1 ribbing at cuffs and waistband. The color is brick red and quantities are limited. For the big boy/girl sizes, we had to go with another vendor in black.
Grid of Sprockets - NEW!
We took a series of cranks and printed two full rotations around "bike iowa". You'll love this new unique design printed on a Heather black Long sleeved unisex T-shirt by Bella Canvas that features a classic crew neck, long sleeves and superior combed and ring-spun jersey cotton.
BIKEIOWA Logo'd - NEW!
We purchased an array of different short and long sleeved T-shirts in varying colors that will have the BIKEIOWA logo. Sizes and colors will vary. Once they are gone, they are gone.
Purple T-shirt - NEW!
We saw this color and loved it! We went with the best - a Bella Canvas. This t-shirt will fit like a well-loved favorite right off the shelf. Look for a tone-on-tone purple ink. Some will have the BIKEIOWA Logo and some the I Heart BIKEIOWA logo. These will go fast.
'MERICA
We still have some Merica designs from last season, now is the time to get some if you didn't get one last year. This is the PERFECT design to wear on 4th of July rides! Sizes and quantities are limited for the Merica and Merica Mono jerseys.
Caps
We have a good selection of the BIKEIOWA Trucker caps. We still have the MERICA cycling caps both in color and mono toned.. There are a few gray tweed and pink performance caps left. We have just a few stocking caps left.
Bagger, Bikesexual and Iowa Gravel
We love these designs as much as you do. We don't have a huge inventory of any one design, but enough. These designs are fun and make a statement!
Reflective stickers
We just got in a new supply of our popular reflective stickers. We go with the best reflective materials we can find and it shows in the quality of these stickers. Stop by for a freebie. Sorry, we still have to charger for the larger ones.

We'll have 100% of our online inventory at the Expo, but feel free to check out the BIKEIOWA store to see the styles and sizes. So you'll still be able to purchase jerseys, crew shirts and tank tops along with trucker caps and coozies and save on shipping. Note: none of the new items are added to the online store. We will also shut down the online store before the expo and will re-open it later in the week after the expo so we can re-inventory everything.
