It's Cold - Come ride with Shawn Johnson this Saturday Just when do you get the chance to ride with one of Forbes 'Most-Liked Sports Figures' on a blistery winter day in Iowa? Your one and only chance is this Saturday! UPDATED Wed. Jan. 6th 8:40 pm

West Des Moines, IA Anyone is welcome to ride! Get there early to get your spot as space will be limited. Bring your bike and trainer to the Lower Center Mall. Ride takes place at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Ride as long as you want to. Bring your bikes through the Lower North Center Entrance Only. Prizes will be awarded to the riders and a bike from Scheels will be raffled off for all those in attendance. US Olympic Gold Medal Champion Shawn Johnson will be participating in LIVESTRONG DAY at Jordan Creek Town Center on Saturday January 9th 2010, WDM IA. The Greater Des Moines Area Livestrong Chapter,along with the Mercy Cancer Center and YMCA Healthy Living Center, are thrilled to announce that US Olympic Gold Medal Champion Shawn Johnson will be participating in LIVESTRONG DAY at Jordan Creek Town Center on Saturday January 9th 2010. Shawn will be inducted as a member of Livestrong and will be riding her new Trek Madone Bike with 100 plus other riders inside Jordan Creek Town Center. This event will feature drawings, store discount coupons, and appearances by members of the Des Moines Bucs Hockey Team, and most importantly information and conversation that can save and better your life.
