The
Annual New Year's Day Nth Degree Bicycle Ride(ANYDNDBR) will once
again be held on Friday, Jan 1, 2016. The ride will start at 10:00
at Starbucks at 5250 86th St in Johnston just north of
I80/35(Usual Place). We will ride the number of miles according to
the temperature at 10:00am (ex., if 10 degrees we will ride 10
miles). Distances in the past have varied from 4 to 35 miles.
Generally we have ridden on paved roads, but a cross or mountain bike
is suggested if the roads are snowy or icy. Also we might ride on
some gravel. The route will probably go west and north of Starbucks
with the final decision made that morning. There is no cost or
pre-registration required; just show up and ride.
