Thank you, everyone who came out on Saturday and put forth a great effort at the first annual Wilbur's 2-Mile Killer. Wilbur Irwin, past owner, would have loved to have seen all off you sufferring (he was a tough guy).

Road (RACE)
Distance - 2 miles
Roller Race
The Iowa 2-mile Roller Races are a indoor event. Held at 8 different locations in Iowa. Kreitler alloy rollers w/"killer" headwind and flywheel are connected to a computer. Roller Fusion is the computer program that
measures the 2-mile timed event 2 riders at a time.
Individuals ride on the Kreitler Headwind Roller system for 2-miles compete for fastest elapsed time
in their category. (Senior 1,2,3/ Senior 4/ Women/Masters 40+/ Juniors 15>/
Juniors 16-18/ and Category 5- citizens).
USCF rules apply and helmets are required.
The roller system used creates a lot of resistance and warp speeds (60+ mph) are not attained. Low to mid 20 mph speeds are common.
