Distance - Approximately 40 miles

Slater, Iowa's First Annual Poker Ride.   

Cash prizes for the top three hands

Enjoy a day of riding along the High Trestle Trail and some of your favorite watering holes.

Slater will have activities going on all weekend:

• The Beer tent open all weekend starting Thursday evening. 
• Fireworks Friday night (watch the trail detour late evening on the slater portion of the hight Trestle Trail)
• Sat - Poke Ride

Route Information

(all ride cards must be stamped during allotted time frame)

1. Crossroads; Kelley, Iowa (11 am to 2 pm)
   
   
2. Nite Hawk; Slater, Iowa (12 pm to 3 pm)
   
   
3. Flat Tire; Madrid, Iowa (1 pm to 4 pm)
   
   
4. Whistlin' Donkey; Woodward, Iowa (2 pm to 5 pm)
   
   
5. Slater Beer Garden; Slater, Iowa (3 pm to 7 pm)

Important Times 

• 10:30 - 11 am   Check-in / Register at the Beer Tent (Slater, Iowa) Receive ride cards and rules.
  
  
• 3 pm                  Dealing of hands begins.  Wild cards may be purchased.
  
  
• 7 pm                  All hands must be dealt
