Take a leisurely tour of the senic High Trestle trail every Friday evening. We'll meet at Good Times bar in Ankeny around 5:30ish departing for Slater around 6:30ish. Usually a stop at the Polk City Station gazebo (half way, on the trail), to collect our thoughts and make sure nothing fell off our bikes and then on to Slater for some dinner and drinks at the Take Down. Officially the ride returns from Slater to Ankeny but the more adventureous souls are welcome to journey on to Madrid the Trestle Bridge and beyond. FYI this is an unsupported ride that takes place mostly after dark so be sure to bring your lights and be safe.
