Just Plain Fun
Distance - 40 miles or less
Close to the 15th year for this Back Of The Pack mostly Bagger Ride. Full route is 40 miles with the first 20 being kinda hilly. Some of the route on trail, county roads, and little highway. Many riders adjust their milage, some do more, many do less. Great outside beer/wine/break stops. Good bars for debauchery.
Route
From downtown we will ride back to Lion's Park on the west end of 8th Ave. Jump on trail to Rock Creek State Park. Trail ends there and head west on F-27. Then north on Hwy 224. West on F-17 on mile then North on Hwy 14 to Laurel. Take county road east out of Laurel to Gilman. T-38 south out of Gilman back to bike trail leading into Grinnell.
