YO! Just lettin' ya know that this event occurred in the past. So don't go planning your day around this one.

New starting location this year. We may actually start Saturday's ride at the Fisherman's Corner campsite before riding back to Port Byron to start Saturday's ride. If you are only coming up Saturday, park in an area 1/4 mile south of Shannon's. Look for the miniature golf course. It is right on the trail.

Click here for a FLYER http://files.me.com/hammermelon/2nepgd This is the prologue to the MelonHead's Annual Mississippi Trail Ride. A beautiful and paved trail that follows the river. Last year, those camping out on Friday night did a impromptu ride to Port Byron and visited several of Port Byron's finest establishments. This year the prologue is included as part of the ride. So if you can get there on Friday nite, set up your tents and head on up to Port Byron (about 5 miles). Just look for the bikes and most likely we will be there. Route

Friday nite is campsite to Port Byron and Back. Saturday's route is Camp to Port Byron, back to Shannon's in Hampton, to Bad Boy'z in Moline, back to Shannon's, then back to camp.

Venue
