Just Plain Fun
Distance - Approximately 50 miles Saturday, 35 miles Sunday
The ride is aimed towards the good old days of biking freedom and adventure. In other words, have fun making do. Each year a campfire is provided. We have show-and-tell for new gadgets….stories and jokes….a possible Tim/Elvis live appearance. Music that slows down and turns down later in the evening. Of course, all percussion instruments are welcome.
Route
The route starts Saturday at Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville. We will probably take the paved bike trail to La Porte City, and from there the county roads offer very good scenery to Brandon, Urbana, Center Point, Walker, and ending up in Quasqueton. We will return on Sunday via Rowley, Brandon, and La Porte City to Gilbertville
