Just Plain Fun
Distance - 22 Miles
Come join the Perry Bike Riders on a Leisurely ride throught the country side & look at the spender that is the fall colors of harvest.
Take a tour of the 1889 Milwaukee Railroad depot in Dawson that is in process of being resored.
Iowa singer/songwriter Dave Moore will have a free concert in the Dawson City Park from 2-6pm.
Representatives from the Hiawatha & Raccoon Valley Trail committee will be providing information on the statue of the Haiwatha Trail.
There will be food & beverages avalible for purchase by the Methodist Church of Dawson.
Route
Go North out of Perry on Highway 144 (BBR route to Rippey 11 miles). Food, drinks & restroom avalible at Sparky's One Stop in Rippey. Two blocks west of Sparky's turn south on county road P46 to Dawson (6 miles). Ride will return to Perry on 130th st (Gravel road 5 miles). Food & Drink specials avalible at Hotel Pattee that evening.
