Charity Ride

Distance - Approximately 46 - 100 miles

After a very successfull inaugural year in 2007, TAB is back to be even better. Track and Back is a charity ride benefiting disadvantaged youth of Central Iowa and what's better is you can help make a difference while enjoying "One Hilluva Ride" at the same time. Bike World is providing FULL SAG SUPPORT! There will also be stationary aid stations throughout the ride! A light pre-ride breakfast a the Start and lunch will be provided at the Iowa Speedway! Wind down afterward with a complimentary BBQ dinner, plenty of beverages and a live band at the post-party! Leverage being in shape from the Summer and "hit it" one more time before the days get to cold and short!

Route

The main route is approximately 46 miles out and 46 miles back from the Iowa Speedway. While at the Iowa Speedway, you will enter into the infield Here riders will be treated to deli sandwiches, beverages, fruit and plenty of other treats. Before you head back, you'll be privileged to ride a few laps(.9 mile) around the actual speedway track itself. That's right.... you can ride around the Speedway. For the shorter ride(46 miles), riders should be dropped of at the Iowa Speedway and ride back to Des Moines from there. We WILL have a bus to transport riders to or from the Iowa Speedway. Departure & arrival times will be announce prior to the ride. You'll be able to say you rode the Speedway on your bike, enjoyed a great ride and post ride party! Woo Hoo!

Registration

This is a charity ride aimed at two things: 1) Providing riders with a "one-of-a-kind" unique ride experience. 2) Raise as many dollars possible for the children of Iowa (Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa.) Although the cost of our event is slightly above the normal ride expense, we know the cycling communtiy has heart and understanding. Plus, we aim to make this ride well worth your $$$ and time through full course support, food/beverage/snacks, cool T's, and a great post-ride party. In addition, we have several corporate and individual sponsors making this ride a success and every rider will help ensure this too! We promise 100% of our net dollars raised will go directly to making a serious impact! In 2007, Track and Back raised over $6,500 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa. We all want to help make a difference and here is one opportunity where you can have an absolute blast at the same time!
