Get ready for RAGBRAI LII with an invigorating training ride from Orange City to Milford on Saturday, June 21.
Covering the first 70 miles of the 2025 route, this ride is a perfect way to build endurance and get a feel for the terrain you'll tackle in July. With a manageable 1,522 feet of climb, this route offers a great balance of challenge and enjoyment, ideal for riders preparing to pedal across Iowa's flattest and shortest RAGBRAI course in years.
The ride will begin in downtown Orange City at Gezellig where riders will enjoy a build-your-own breakfast burrito, coffee and orange juice (included) along with mimosas ($5 charge).
Riders will roll out of Orange City together at 9am and follow the official day 1 RAGBRAI route. The 70 mile journey will take riders through some of Northwest Iowa’s most scenic small towns.
Our stops will include:
- Granville for their annual car show
- Primghar for a well-deserved break at The Cobblestone Bar
- Hartley for lunch at local food trucks
- May City to rest before the final stretch
- Milford where we'll end our journey at West O's new outdoor Terrace
