LIVE MUSIC from "Bad Friends"

Bad Friends is a cover band specializing in an eclectic mix of rock, indie, and pop hits, delivering a live show meant to keep the party going. From classic rock and new wave to grunge and current pop, Bad Friends plays all the songs you want to hear live. Audiences rave about the live show full of popular tunes that they will sing and dance to. Led with soaring vocals by Eric McCoy, they cover artists like Tom Petty, Rush, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tracy Chapman, The Killers, Queen and Bruno Mars. The Des Moines-based band has been together for over a decade, playing on a variety of stages such as Jalapeño Pete’s at the Iowa State Fair, Eldora Rock ‘N Row Adventures, the Bacoon Ride in Waukee, and Beaverdale Fallfest. Rounding out the rest of the band is Alex Rooney on the guitar; Zach Rohlwing on the bass and keys; and Evan Davis on drums and sound effects.  WATCH VIDEO

Proceeds benefit the Iowa Bicycle Coalition

The Iowa Bicycle Coalition is a statewide nonprofit organization that advocates for safe, accessible, and enjoyable cycling for Iowans of all backgrounds and abilities. We work to protect you and your family while bicycling, whether on trails or roads, by passing legislation and promoting bicycle-friendly design and bicycle infrastructure in our communities. We work to educate Iowans on bicycle safety by partnering with schools and the DOT with our Safe Routes to School program. We also work with kids to train them to use bicycles safely at bike rodeos.

The Iowa Bicycle Coalition will be hosting a Silent Auction at the RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party. Donate to the Silent Auction here. Your kindness and generosity will help elevate the voice of cyclists to be more effective at the capitol in enacting bicycle focused safety legislation. All contributions are matched by RAGBRAI through the end of the year.
