CRANKSGIVING is part scavenger hunt, part bike race(ride), part rolling food drive, all designed to be fun and give back to the community as we #raceforacause
Bring a bike, a bag and currency of your choosing. At registration, you’ll be handed a shopping list of several items. At high noon your job is to navigate the streets of Des Moines making purchases for 10 specific items from the given list. You may purchase items ANYWHERE YOU CHOOSE, but each item has to come from a DIFFERENT location (so you’ll be making 10 unique stops). After you’ve completed your purchases, ride them back to Lucky Horse to finish and donate your items to Urban Bicycle Food Ministries. Bring all 10 receipts as proof you made 10 unique stops.
