Tour

Distance - Full routes for each day runs between 40-75 miles each. Longer options and shortcuts are offered but may not include hospitality stops.

Bicyclists will pedal their way through the scenic rolling countryside and river valley of the historical Villages of Van Buren during this two-day event in Southeastern Iowa. Bicyclists are welcomed with outstanding hospitality and refreshments, all included as part of the registration fee! The routes will lead you through some of the most picturesque settings. All routes begin and end at Keosauqua City Park in the center of the Villages of Van Buren. Hospitality stops along the way are to allow a chance to visit with the locals, take a break from the rolling hills, and learn about some of the fascinating sites in the Villages. The refreshments at these stops are 100% complimentary to registered riders. To make things even more fun, registered riders may also participate in the Poker Run! Build your best hand of poker by drawing cards at each hospitality stop for a chance to win prizes provided by Villages of Van Buren and Bickel's Cycling & Fitness of Burlington, IA. Bickel's also provides technical support and there are SAG wagons available along the route for all riders.

Before you hit the road, be sure to get some carbs and support the local Keosauqua Lions Club for their annual all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast under the big tent in the Keosauqua City Park. This is open to everyone and available from 6:30-9:00 am both days!

NEW for Saturday night! Head to First Street in downtown Keosauqua for a street dance beginning at 7 pm featuring Rushmore, a 2023 inductee into the Iowa Music Association's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
