Distance - 25, 50 or 100 miles
The Prairie Burn Gravel Ride is a non-competitive 25, 50 or 100 mile gravel ride that has something for everyone. The route forms 3 different loops out of downtown Grinnell Iowa with each loop getting progressively more challenging. There will be many opportunities to refuel and keep your fire going at the start/finish line and at various aid stations on the course. There will be an official mass start at 7:00 a.m. If you get around slow in the morning and miss the start, don't sweat it.. just make sure you embark on your ride before 8:00 a.m. so that you don't miss our aid stations. The route will be published the week prior to the event so flexibility exists for those who want to do their own thing. Push the pace and see all 100 miles in a flash- or take your time and enjoy the company of friends on a 25 mile roll... your choice... We just hope to see you burning up the prairie with us on June 11!
