Join your craft beer-loving fffriends on an FFFing Ride!
This first of three rides in a series starts at Firetrucker in Ankeny, travels on to Fenders Brewing in Polk City, and up to Fenceline Beer Lab in Huxley and back to Firetrucker.
1. Follow this link to complete the ride waiver:
2. Check in at the host brewery at or after Noon on ride day to receive a wristband & punch card.
3. Ride the route posted on our social pages or chart your own path—you do you, boo!
4. Stop at all three breweries during each ride and show your wristband to get $1 off beer & get a punch on your card.
5. After all three rides, there will be a drawing for prizes for riders with completed punch cards.
Route
The route is (if starting from Firetrucker in Ankeny): West on 1st Street
to the Neal Smith Trail, then on to Fenders and up through Polk City to
ultimately pick up the High Trestle Trail at the Oasis. Head to Slater and
hang a right (east) to jump on the Heart of Iowa Nature Trail, taking you
to Fenceline in Huxley (under the water tower). Return trip to Firetrucker
is to backtrack on Heart of Iowa to Slater and pick back up the High
Trestle all the way back to Ankeny. All told, the “loop” is about 33 miles.
