The Tour De Rock is a great recreational bike ride on the Volksweg Trail near Pella, Iowa. This paved asphalt trail showcases Lake Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake, and surrounding parks. The route will have an optional loop corssing the Des Moines River and heading south before rejoining the Volksweg Trail.
Route
Two loops available. 30 mile loop covers the Volksweg Trail and continue out to Cordova Park and then returns to town via the trail. The long route will include part of the trail and travel south to the town of Tracy before returning.
