Police say a man has died after a crash involving a car and motorized bicycle in Davenport.
At approximately 10:09 p.m. on Monday, Davenport police, Davenport Fire and Medic EMS responded to the 600 block of East 15th Street in reference to the head on crash.
Preliminary information determined the car was traveling west bound on 15th Street when it was struck by a motorized bicycle traveling against traffic, the wrong way on the one way street.
The bicyclist was identified as a 46-year-old man from Davenport. Police say he was transported to Genesis East Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The Traffic Safety Unit is conducting a follow up.
