Steven Michael Simon, 60, of Tipton was transported to the hospital after being struck by Emily Dallege, 31 also of Tipton at 899 290th St near Rochester Iowa.

Simon was traveling eastbound on 290 St when Dallege struck him from behind.

No time was mentioned in the report.

The accident remains under investigation.
