Ever watch a cyclocross race? Check out two races this weekend in the Des Moines area!

Cyclocross Race, a hybrid of road, mountain and cross-country running. This is a great fast-paced spectator-friendly race where you can watch the entire race from one spot. If you have never been to one, ride down to Union Park on Saturday or Ewing Park on Sunday. The 'Cross Out Crohns Disease' Cyclocross Series (Oct-Dec) hosted by the Cross Mafia in Central, IA has started! The team promotes the 'Cross Out Crohns Disease'Cyclocross Series to raise awareness and funds for the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America, Iowa Chapter. The Series has raised over $2,500 since 2002. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's mission is to cure and prevent Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.
