Bicycle Parking at the 2002 Iowa State Fair

Avoid the motor vehicle traffic jams and the I-235 reconstruction detours by bicycling to the Iowa State Fair. For the first time, the Iowa State Fair is providing a designated parking area for bicycles. The area is
inside the southwest parking lot on the Fairgrounds, near the 4-H Exhibits Building.
Bicyclists should enter through Gate 9, located at E. 31st Street and Logan (just east of East 30 and Logan and south of the ticket booth and MTA Fair shuttle stop). The cost to park is $4.00 per bike. At a minimum, drive in part way and bike to the fair and still avoid the traffic!
