Welcome to the New Belgium Brewing Urban Assault Ride!

Des Moines IA - August 28th, 2011 The 1st UAR in Des Moines was the biggest inaugural UAR ever....and more beer was consumed than any other event. On August 28th, Des Moines may very well experience the biggest UAR in the world. You better be there. We're capping at 1500, so sign up ASAP! We're pretty sure the UAR is the most fun you'll have on a bike. Just ask those who did it in 2010. Check out last year's UAR. We've been asked, 'Why Des Moines of all places?' We'll tell you why - because you all love your bikes and beer! We'll be bringing it again this year for sure! Des Moines womped every other city last year. Can we do it again ???

Last Year's UAR rocked! If you were there, you need no more explanation. I know you all are already signed up. If you missed it, ya might wanna sign-up soon, cause I think we are going to cap out this one! If you are looking for a BIG party less than one month after RAGBRAI... Well... This is it! This bike-based scavenger hunt will send you all over the Des Moines in a race to complete a series of obstacle courses and other challenges before hitting the beer-tent after-party. Costumes and themed attire is a must! Well, it's not required, but you'll have a better time! You may be bike jousting, big-wheel-ridin', keg walkin', doin' the limbo, and more. No problem! The event has a laid back atmosphere and most folks come for the fun (maybe the beer too;) Anyone can do it! Think of it like a day at an amusement park - with the added bonus of a good ride, tasty beer, and lots of schwag!

Your last chance to register is at Packet Pick-up - Saturday before each event. Cost will be $65/person. THERE IS NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION You snooze you lose! Post Party: Stick around afterwards! Don't let the recession spoil your good times. We are an equal opportunity event and pleased to announce we have a limited number of free and reduced-price entries for those who could use a lucky break.

We have a limited number of free registrations available for each event. In order to qualify, you and your teammate must be able to work packet pick up on Saturday before the UAR.
Once the packet pick up spots are filled, we can work with you on the price of the entry fee. Email Jackie@adventurefit.com to make it happen.
