ABOUT TOUR DE FIELDS:

The Tour de Fields is a road and family fun ride done in conjunction with the Bicycle Blues and BBQ festival in Clear Lake Iowa. The funds raised during this event will be used to maintain and improve the Cerro Gordo county trail system. Please join us for some great riding, mouthwatering bar-b-que, and a TON of fun!

EVENT SCHEDULE:

All routes start and finish at Clear Lake City Park in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Registration will also take place at City Park in Clear Lake.

          TOUR DE FIELDS:

Packet pickup and late registration will run from 7:00-7:45AM

All distances will start promptly at 8AM

Aid Station Availability:

#1 - 8:45-9:45AM

#2 - 9:30AM-12:30PM

SAG wagon support will end at 2PM

          FAMILY FUN RIDE AROUND CLEAR LAKE:

There will be a 14 mile ride around Clear Lake for cyclists of all ages. More information will be posted as we get closer to the event.

RIDE CHOICES:

     TOUR de FIELDS:

~28 Mile Mile Easy Ride: A relatively flat ride that includes 1 aid station. The route can be found here (Route)

~40 Mile Moderate Ride: A slightly longer and more challenging ride than the 32 miler. Includes 2 aid stations. The route can be found here (Route)

~60 Mile Challenger: Training for RAGBRAI? This ride is the one for you! Includes 3 aid stations. The route can be found here (Route)

Registration

REGISTRATION INFO:

There are 3 methods that can be used to register for the Tour de Fields: 

•      Preregister by printing out the following form and mailing it to the address listed in the flyer. (Registration Flyer)
•      Register the morning of the event.
•      Register at online at www.bicyclebluesbbq.com by clicking on this link (REGISTER for the Tour) and clicking on the blue button at the top of the page that says Register. 

FEES:

Tour de Fields:

$25 per person before June 1st 2014 regardless of distance (includes t-shirt)

$30 per person between June 2nd and June 25th regardless of distance (includes t-shirt)

$30 per person the day of the event (NO T-SHIRT INCLUDED)

Family Fun Ride:

Registration Perks:

T-Shirt (for riders registered before June 25th ONLY; excludes Family Fun Ride)

There will not be any extra t-shirts the morning of the ride

A ticket for a BBQ meal @ Clear Lake City Park (Excludes Family Fun Ride)

FULLY stocked aid stations; the number you will hit depends on the route you choose

SAG wagon support

Other Information:

Helmets are REQUIRED to participate!

Ride goes on rain or shine; no refunds!
