Charity Ride
Distance - 16, 28, and 54 miles
Habitour is family-oriented ride sponsored by Story County
Habitat for Humanity. There are three lengths of rides to
choose from: 16, 28, and 54 miles. So choose the ride that
best suits you and come along. Ride also includes a picnic
lunch and prizes. Special prizes given to fundraisers
who get ride sponsors.
Route
All three rides leave from Brookside Park. Check-in for the
54 mile ride is 8:00am to give riders enough time to get
back for the picnic. The 28 mile ride leaves at 10:00am,
and the final ride leaves at 10:30am. The 16 mile route
goes from Ames to Gilbert and back. The 28 mile route
goes from Ames to Nevada and back. The 54 mile route
goes from Ames to Gilbert, Story City, Roland, McCallsburg
(optional), Nevada, and back to Ames.
