Bike Van Buren is a 2-day casual, family-oriented ride through the 12 historic Villages of Van Buren County. Each village "rolls out the red carpet" for bikers with outstanding hospitality! Many complimentary food & drink stops are on the route. Lunch is also included on the route (+/-$5) Bike riders from across the Midwest participate year after year stating this is one of the best "smaller" bike rides in Iowa. Saturday's approximate mileage is 70m., Sunday is 40m. There are shortcuts available. SAG & Technical vehicles patrol the routes providing water, first aid and assistance as needed.
Route
The route begins and ends in the Keosauqua City Park on both days. The route map (which encompasses all 12 historic villages) will have shortcuts marked and will be provided to participants upon registration.

Registration
Day-of Registration begins at 7:00am on Saturday August 18, 2007. The cost is $25 per person and includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration is available on our website (www.villagesofvanburen.com) until July 23, 2007 and the cost is $20 per person. Event is held rain or shine. No refunds.
