Algona Rotary is “gearing” up for our 10th year of BRAK – Bikes for Kids -- on Saturday, June 8, 2024. We are hoping to make it the most successful ride yet!
Bike Ride Across Kossuth (BRAK) is a ride sponsored by the Algona Rotary Club each year as a fundraiser to purchase bicycles for underprivileged youth in our community.
For the 2024 ride we will begin in the city of Bancroft, IA. Registration check-in at 7:30 a.m. Ride beginning at 8 a.m.
There will be a short (20-30 miles) and long ride option (40-50 miles) available with stops in surrounding towns who will be offering refreshments and a place to rest. A sag wagon will also be available along the route and throughout the day.
Everyone is welcome to join in the ride. Each registration is only $25 and includes a BRAK performance shirt. Registrations must be received by May 20 to receive a shirt.
