How much fun will this be! The/Drift is sponsoring our first Gravel Ride on Sunday, October 24. The 40 mile route will traverse the beautiful drift plain landforms of southern and southwest Madison County. You will ride through 3 of Madison County's famous Covered Bridges, cross the unique low-water Middle River ford at Pammel State Park all while exploring the hilly terrain of the Middle River and Jones Creek river valleys.
This ride is classified as a "Social/Self-Supporting" ride. This classification means that this is a non-competitive ride and that all riders are responsible for their own minimal first aide and bike repairs if needed. Some minimal bike support will be provided as well as emergency care/first responders if required.
The ride will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. Registered participants need to meet at The/Drift at 9:30 a.m. to confirm registrations, sign waiver forms and receive final instructions for the ride.
The/Drift is excited about being able to bring this type of ride to southern Madison County. Your registration fee will include one free meal and beverage following the completion of your ride in addition to a souvenir Drift pint glass and helmet sticker.
