Road
Distance - 100 miles
4th Annual Women's Century Ride. Starts at the Boat Launch along the Great River Trail in Rapids City, IL (just off Interstate 80 along Route 84). Departure time is 7am sharp. This is an unsupported century (62 or 100 miles). You will be given a detailed cue sheet which has locations indicated where you may purchase food and find restrooms every 15-18 miles. The group usually stops for lunch in Morrison, IL after riding 60 miles. If there are enough riders, we will split up into groups based on pace. The idea is to not leave anyone riding alone on the route and for women who have never ridden a full century to be able to accomplish this feat.
Route
The route is pretty flat and travels through Hillsdale, Erie, Morrsion (twice), Prophetstown, and Cordova, Illinois. The route has some rolling to moderate hills north of Morrison.
