Party Ride

Distance - 22 miles

Family friendly and party friendly ride all in one. perfect ride to start warming up for RAGBRAI. Just under 25 miles with two stops. Bike ride starts at BV County Fair in Alta, travels to Buoys Bar & Grill on the lake on the southwest side of Storm Lake, then along the lake bike trail to Puff’s Whitecap Inn on the other side of the lake then back to the fair grounds. Food and drink available for purchase at both stops. Scenic easy ride with two great venues along the way. Early registration is $15, $20 day of. Also $5 gate fee to get into fairgrounds when first arrive, but gate fee is all inclusive to events at the fair which includes carnival rides, BBQ contest, craft brewing contest in the afternoon and Jay Clyde Band starting at 5pm along with all the other fair stuff (animals, kids, vendors). Registration includes tank top and or snap coozies. Lakeshore Cyclery will be on the route with their support vehicles. Special thanks to Buoys, Puffs, and Lakeshore Cyclery for their support. Storm Lake has a great 4th of July celebration, come for the 4th and stay for the bike ride and fair.

Route

Buena Vista County Fair to Buoys on Storm Lake, then to Puffs on other side of Storm Lake, then back to fairgrounds.

Registration

$15 early registration, $20 day of, $5 gate fee to enter fair, gate fee is all inclusive to rides and events at the fair.
